Pj Yu is the Deputy Artistic Director of Our Theatre. Born in Chiayi and raised in a military dependents’ village, she graduated from the Department of Theatre Arts at Taipei National University of the Arts, majoring in acting. Based in Chiayi, her performance style is marked by a powerful presence and a raw, grounded energy. She has collaborated closely with Our Theatre for over 21 years, taking on leading roles in numerous productions. She was nominated for the Most Promising Newcomer in a Drama Program at the 60th Golden Bell Awards in 2025. In recent years, her work has focused on urban studies, history, and shifting landscapes. She is known for her interdisciplinary collaborations, uncovering moving moments within everyday life.
